Group Lesson Structure – Intro/Stretching — Skate Games (Board Control) — Instruction (Riding/Tricks)
Skate Games – Each of the skate games accomplishes two things: fun & board control. The games are often variations of familiar kids’ games that are done on skateboards. These games help kids become more comfortable moving in different ways with their skateboards, ultimately leading to more control over their bodies and more control over their boards.
Instruction – Group skate lessons are tailored to the average ability of the group. Individual ability is assessed and tricks are modified to fit students next steps. Students will improve in more specific areas because of this instruction
